I have a passion for details and figuring things out. I love the challenge of building an HTML email that renders flawlessly across all email readers. I also really love WordPress and the power and speed it gives me as a Web Developer. I bring passion and positive energy to my clients and their projects, treating them like they are my own. But beyond the passion is a responsible work ethic. I am a strong communicator, and I pride myself on my availability, punctuality and thoroughness. Because I’ve got over 10 years of experience, I can get a project done reasonably quickly. In terms of HTML emails, often that means the very next day!

WORK EXPERIENCE
Over the last decade I have been very fortunate to work as a sub-contractor for several marketing firms exclusively servicing the IT sector.
2009 – 2016: Xactlyit.
Xactlyit is a marketing services firm that works exclusively with organizations that sell into IT. Xacltyit provides market awareness and end-user business development services to build sales pipeline for clients and their channel partners. 2018 – current: ConnectWise

Skills.
MY TOOLS AND TRAINING.
These are the skills I use the most often and the percent I use them in the overall scope of my work. I am not limited to these, however, and am a voracious, self-motivated learner, completely capable and willing to learn new tools and systems if there’s a need.
HOW I USE THESE SKILLS.
PHOTOSHOP: I use Photoshop to create banner images for HTML emails and for image creation/editing for websites. Photoshop is also used to optimize image size for delivery via email and over the Web.
RESPONSIVE HTML EMAILS: This is my bread and butter. I code responsive HTML emails using the split visual screen and code editor that is in Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver has become much more sophisticated integrated development environment over the years, and to me is perfect for building HTML emails.
WORDPRESS: Many client email marketing campaigns require a Landing Page with a form to collect and deliver lead data from the user. The WordPress CMS makes this task much simpler and efficient than coding by hand, and offers a great deal in terms of power and flexibility. I’m very familiar and comfortable using the WordPress Admin interface. I’ve even put together entire websites using WordPress, examples of which can be seen in my work portfolio above.
